Default Post pics of your gauge pod

Guys,

Anyone, I am guessing predominantly FI people, have a gauge pod made for their GS?? Pleasae post pics if you do with pricing so I can get a rough estimate!! I am looking specifically for the A pillar, not in vents or cupholders. I read Gil's thread but only saw Dr G's one picture.
Anyone else?

Thx,
Jonny

Love the pillar pod. The rest are kinda dangerous...don't want to be looking down while asking the car to go exceed its factory specs.

Hey Jonny my pilar pod project stalled. I got really busy but I did just get some fabric from Leatherseats.com that that matches pretty good If you look really close you can see some difference. It's a lot better than anything I found locally.
I did find a dual pilar pod that I'm think that I'll be able to mold to the A pilar. The hard part will be fiber glassing it to the pilar. I have not messed w/f iberglassing in decades.

Nice gauges indeed

Do you want to keep drinking if you're hitting triple digits ???

It was really cheap$15 for a sq yard ( 54" x 36") more than enough to do the pillar. The leather route will be about $75 for a 1/4 hide and the vinyl enought to do one pillar if cut right.
( looks every bit like the leather) $15 per yard(54" x 36")

Dr. G's leather A-pillar pods look sweet but the leather is a lot harder to stretch and apply on the curves w/o using a lot of cuts and pieces.
