A blessing in disguise? Car does not start
Well I've done a lot of searching and through many people's experiences; the "one click start" is mainly due to bad contacts on the starter. Well after hearing that the exhaust manifold has to be pulled I thought, oh wow this will cost a lot. Maybe I could do the work myself or just take it to a shop I know does good work.
And since I have to take my exhaust manifold off, I might as well slap on the S & S headers I purchased last year that has been sitting in my garage with a bunch of other mods.
So here is a question I pose for those who have had the headers installed on their GS400's. Did you have the work done by a shop or did you do it yourself?
And I know this is going to be a potential flame, but until I get that Y-pipe built can I use the existing pipe until I get that Y-pipe built by a shop?
Either way my car is not drivable and I have access to a flatbed, so I can tow it where it needs to go, I'll just have to pay for gas.
Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated.
Chris
