I don't think the red is that far off. The main difference is that on the JPs and OEMs, the clear is like an insert and you can see a red border around the sides and bottom. The ones from QuestPower don't have this trim and the bottom is all clear. I think this is why the clear looks fatter.

yup, chris is right, that's the difference. the cutoff of the quest is actually the same as the jp, i have looked very close. amazing how that surrounding red on the jp makes it look so much more in ratio. i am surprised. for the price i think the quest would be great alternative, if the quality is up there. but for the best look, i still dig the jp any day

I'm sure it would be possible to put red film or paint part of the amber part so it looks more proportional.

They look good... but something about them doesn't look just right.. or at least in the picture...
they just don't have that JP detailed look... thye don't look as clean or as well done to me... at least in the pics...
i think i'd have to see more pictures like a direct rear shot or with my own eyes before i make a final decision about them..
but if they look good.. then i'm definitely getting them... you know... to complete my QUEST kit

they look nice but they just dont have that JP touch like some others mentioned i think the clear part is too big and it looks too white...i like the LED factor though thats a nice touch...
