WARNING ABOUT SELLER IN THREAD, eurocustoms!!!!
Hey, the seller that is sellin these lights is a jerk!
I bought a set of the 01-05 yellow gs fogs from him.
When I got them 1 fog light had a BIG rock chip and a hole in the lens.
So i returned and he said, " i send a new one right away."
That was a month and a half ago!!!!
Everytime I email him he gives me a steady string of lies.
Every week he says it will be on my door step!!!
And every week i ask for a tracking number which I never get.
Please no one buy anything from this douch bag!

knock offs? hardly. quest is one big company in japan making aftermarket parts of their own. these taillights are made by them.
and even if other companies make clear taillights, i would never call that knock offs. clear taillight is just a style, nothing different from say having roof spoiler or body kits. so if company a makes a roof spoiler and company b makes another roof spoiler (different looking), you call that knock off? please...
and yes, the quest taillights have thicker clears, imho it does make it not as nice as the jp taillights, which have better visual effect. but i am not sure about the "lower quality". have you seen it in person? what's bad about it compared to say oem and jp? i would like to know what's bad about it

the original thread's (this thread right now) first post refers to these lights as knockoff's of the JP lights. i am only repeating what i have read.
i have never said that these lights were bad quality or looked like crap. i only repeated what i read in this thread through the comments of other members. like i said in my quote:
those are knockoff's of the real deal junction produce tailights. from what i heard, they are lower quality and the clears are a bit thicker.
and let's keep this to tail lights and not bring on roof spoilers or body kits. i'm assuming the thread orginator called these lights knockoff's because he probably thought they looked identical to the JP headlights. this is also true of the explosion body kits, which the knock off's look identical, but are called knock off's.
again, i am not bashing on these lights. for those who like these lights, props to you and i hope they make a great addition to your cars. i just don't want to be falsely interpreted as sounding like a jackass when i'm not.

Only true Lexus enthusiasts will know the value of JP tails. The average Joe on the street will not realize how exclusive those lights are. Heck, the 05 Camry has JP style tail lights. Everyone has their own preference when it comes to what to spend their cash on.

i have a jp's but the quest look damn good to me!! i think it looks more like the new new 550 bmw taillights (the thickness of the clear)...I would go with jp b/c of oem look and fitment...

I love the jp taillights but the quest give the gs a new look & the LED setup is hot! Im probably gonna go the affordable way for now... gs430 stocks untill someone starts to make the price more affordable for people in school
