question about strut tops

Default recommend new strut caps
Shortly after installing my LTuned Springs and Bilstein Sports my front end started squeeking and after process of elimation we determined it was the front strut caps. After installing new strut caps no more squeeking Could be my imagination but the front end felt a little tighter too.

Hey DJC. Thanks for responding to the thread. Have you had any issues at all with the rear strut caps? It seems like most problems are related to the front strut tops (which makes sense).

No, did not have any problems with the rears nor do I remember other members discussing problems in the suspension sub-forum.

Hey LK. It was tough for me to put a non-stock cabin air filter in the car. What does that tell you about the chances that I'll be putting on coilovers?
