Question Help! GS3 Head rest fitment...

I just got an '01 GS300 about 2 weeks ago .....and my headrests already got stolen!

Any ideas what other cars would fit since the dealer wants $575/ea.

Thanks for the help....

Yeah, best thing to do is what chuckb said, just keep an eye in the classified here or eBay Motors. If you have an account with eBay you can set up a search to where they will email you as soon as the item pops up. I have had the best of luck with these types of "power searches."

Thanks everyone for the pm's and sympathy! It sucks big time!!!

I set-up a search on ebay (good suggestion Jayson). And one guy said he might sell his and will let me know later in the week. I am looking for black ones preferably since dying them would just be a pain.

I don't need monitors but how would I even know if the posts would fit the GS? They don't list any models? Do you have a set? They are definately a good price with the monitors already built in.

I don't have them personally but was thinking very hard about purchasing for myself. I guess I'll have to measure my post. The price agrees with me though.

Those ebay things look like a headache waiting to happen. Nowhere on that auctio do they list the size of the actual headrest or the post thickness and distance. If it was me, I'd just hit delete and move on.

Might want to check out a salvage yard search site.
You can enter a search and have them find you a set.

So what happened anyhow? How did your headrests get ripped off? Do you have an alarm? Door locked?
Did they take all four?

I parked in front of my mom's house showed the car to a friend and went back inside real quick...wound up staying for like 1/2 hr talking and then I went back outside and it looks like I forget to hit the clicker and lock the doors. (afterall I was supposed to be going right back out.)

I opened the door and was like OMG the front 2 headrests were gone!

Totally my fault! and a hard lesson learned! I have been checking hte local junkyard and they usually just get a good laugh and chuck it up to me being a girl!

I am still looking....
