Timing Belt change
Can someone please help me out here. I bought my car (98 GS 300) with 99K on it. I have no Idea if the timing belt was changed. I am guessing I will have to have it changed. What are the recommended miles to change the timing belt for a 98 GS 300?
Also what is it going to cost me (what did you pay) I am thinking about NOT going to Lexus if I can, I heard they are so expensive and I know someone who is really good and I trust can do the job.
So at 99k should I go and do it right now? I am so afraid that the belt is going to snap on me and really cost some bucks. The car runs great but knowing my luck!
