Hi everyone i tried to install an l-sportline grille that i brought from another member awhile ago and it didnt seem to fit right. Is it possible that it could have just gotten deformed? I was going go get my front end repainted soon is this something that can be fixed by the body shop? heres the picture below. There is a gap in the middle at the top and the bottom of the grille doesnt seem to line up with the bumper. Please let me know what you think.

hey, i have the same grille, don't know if it'll fit right 'cause i haven't installed it yet.. do you have pics of the back? where you screwed it in?

oh, where did you get that emblem? that looks nice

ill take some pics of the back but the emblem came with the grille.

There should be a tab that the center of the grill attaches to the center of the hood. Do you have that bolt on your grill? That will probably be the cure or the cause of the poor fitiment.

Heres the pic of the back of the grille. There is not latch that attaches to the hood

Do you take off the factory grill latch like the L-tuned grill...2 screws>?> put it on the sl grill?

yea i did or else i wouldnt be able to open the hood again

Well I guess it wouldnt have held closed at all...your prob is the grill to hood connection sorry I misunderstood.

yea. I can attach the hood latch but i just dont like the gap at the top where the grille meets the hood
