Default Mystery Leak?

I have devloped what appears to be a small leak, as I have been seeing a spot on the pavement where I park. After it rained the spot disappeared for the most part and didn't re-appear for several days thereafter-oddly. I ran a finger on it and I cannot tell what it is. It appears to be located "approximately" under where the power steering reservoir area on the passenger side of the car is located. I can find no fluid leaks on the car itself. All fluid levels are spot on where they should be. I do not think it's engine oil, and no tranny components appear to be over in that area. My instinct is PS fluid or brake fluid. Any ideas?

If it doesn't have any smell... Do you run your AC/Climate control? Could it just be a condensation?

Try to put a white napkin on it to see what color it is.

Also, does it feel oily?

I'll try the white napkin. As for feel, it does feel a bit oily but there isnt enough on the pavement to tell, and whatever it is it disperses quickly i.e. it appears very fluid/thin as it makes a 5 inch round spot, then dries within a few days or if we get a rain....

Default Taste test

I might suggest if you get it on a napkin to taste it. I know this sounds strange, but if it is antifreeze it would have a sweet taste to it. DONT DRINK IT OF COURSE

Power steering fluid has a serious bitter taste to it.

So before ANYONE asks, one of my best friends father is serious old school hot rod builder. He street raced back in the 40's and 50's. He had showed us this when we where in high school and I guess that it has stuck.

AGAIN DO NOT DRINK!!
