has anyone taken the dash board out and could share their impressions of the project?
i cannot for the life of me find a 98-99 blue gs300, with black leather interior, in my price range with the mileage i want. that leaves me two options.
one - i can wrap the stock tan dash in some killer black suede. but that still means i've got to buy all black vents and misc plastics. i refuse to paint a vent or anything that needs to move or be labeled.
two - i can buy a black dash out of a wreck, and maybe the door panels/steering wheel/carpets at the same time to save some of my headaches. has anyone done a dash swap or removed theirs for any reason? got any insight?

Based on my experience with working on these cars and how well they are put together, I think I would rather do an engine swap than a dash swap. You are talking about a lot of work that I think you will be sorry you started. I would keep looking for the right car but that is just me.
