Default Better Windshield Washer Jets?

I was trying to clean my windshield on my way home from class today and realized that the windshield washer jets on the GS suck. The stream that comes out is very weak and not any good for cleaning. Are there any better ones out there? I like the higher powered ones that put out a powerful spray rather than a stream. Maybe I'm just finicky, but has anyone noticed this or changed theirs out?

If not the washer jets, what about the washer pump? maybe a more powerful pump would increase the flow and create a better cleaning stream. HMMM...

Hmmm, they may be clogged. My dad's '04 gs3 has very powerful jets. They may have mineral build up, which limits the pressure. Take a safety pin and stick it in each hole to see if you unblock any clogs... The motor may be getting old, so it may need to be replaced, also.

I actually cleaned them out last weekend, but with them still on the hood. I might take them off this coming weekend and check them out. on the 04, is it a solid stream that comes out or a spray?

Yeah, I did a search. But probably not the right words. I call them jets, others call them squirters!

3 solid streams per jet/squirter that are spread out evenly along the windshield. (6 total jet streams)

It's probably the pump then, cuz the '04 has quite some pressure.

Depending on what happens when i get in there this weekend, I might replace both the pump and the squirters for the ES330 fan squirters. We shall see!

Has anyone tried the 04+ LS ones? I like them, just not sure they will fit.

Im not liking the jet stream... backsplashes everywhere, and wastes too much fluid compared to teh scattered ones.

My '01 has the 3 stream also, works great. I'm guessing you have a clog, hole in one of the hoses or a weak pump. Also, the washer fluid makes a difference as far as "cleaning" goes. I've been using the Rain-X brand and am very pleased with the way it cleans.

We've used a 50% mix of water and some Genericand it works great.
