i know of an older gentleman in the pittsburgh area who has 511,000 on his ls. almost all highway miles as he also has a home in south carolina and has never flown. i have 211,000 on my 99 gs and have had no trouble whatsoever. i'm at a point now that i'm questioning whether to continue with the mod plans for this one or buy a new one. it just hasn't given me any reason to get rid of it. i sold my 1999 mb c43 amg and bought the gs due to reliability issues i had with tthe c43 and other mb's in the past. the gs has obviously done me well in the reliability category !

Highmiles is going to think I'm stalking him. He's put on just shy of 50,000 miles in a year of ownership on the 06 GS430. Unbelievable.

that is crazy. he really lives up to his name. he put more miles on his car in under a year than my car has had in it's entire 5 year life!
