This thread is for the maximum mileage on a GS anyone has seen (without any major maintenance). Let me know what you have seen.

CL member highmiles had 317,000+ miles on his 98 GS4 when he sold it a few months ago. That's the highest mileage I've seen.

I want to say that it went for around $10,000 about a year ago. Does anyone else remember?

I agree it seems high, but it was all highway miles and his car was incredibly maintained. Maybe it was $8,000, but I could have sworn it was $10,000. If you search highmiles threads from about a year ago, you should be able to find it. He sold his 98 to buy an 06 GS430.

Rich I think he posted it that in the first 3 or 4 months he had already done his 15K mile service or maybe it was a little longer than that.

Just did a search and this is what he posted on 12/18/05 I'm not sure how long he has had it but, this is what he had to say...

40,264 No problems. Taking it in for its 40K service tomorrow.

I am pretty sure he got it when they first came out. So he is probably around 60k miles now
