I noticed that the stock brake feels a little soft and spongy. Will upgrading to SS brake lines yield a firmer feeling?

Thanks,

It will and that's it. It won't help on the stopping distance or the fading.

RA,

I see that you are debating the TRD brake upgrade kit. Just for your information, I checked with my Lexus dealer and they can get them for me at cost + 10% or around $1,411. Checked with Steve Ganz and he would match the price.

Thumbs up Pedal Feel

GS - I installed the RMM stainless brake lines on my GS when I also added the STOCK crossdrilled/vented rotors that I got from Mo. The feel is slightly firmer ( less deflection in the lines ) & I actually dropped a few feet off my 60-0 distances but I attribute that to the new TRD pads that I put on at the same time. BTW - I did all this at about 25k miles & the stock rotors looked fine ( no excessive wear ). However, it'd be a good idea to have yours turned a little if ya change the pads at this time as they will perform better & last longer if they're allowed to "bed-in" together.
