Q45 retro almost here!
Hey everyone,
My q45 retros are almost done, what do you guys think about the 8000k bulbs? I know that 8000k doesnt give out that as much output as other hid bulbs, but I wanted a diffrent look. I was also thinking it will be contrasting with the white halos. By the way, does anyone know its hard to replace the headlights Much thanks!
Thanks for the compliments everyone, I'll let ya know when I install them.
To answer your question, the cost is somewhere between 1500-2000, depends what you want. (Halo, hid, retro fit in high beam, low beam etc.) You can check out his website at: http://www.advancedautomotiveconcep...taticMain.shtml If you guys are considering of doing a retrofit, i strongly encourage you to let Justin do it. He is very keen to the smallest details, and very accomidating. Just look at oem the quality!

I just replaced my Head lights yesterday and put in black housings
it was a little tricky but Easy ... you have all the top bolts from the head lights
and where your bumper meets the fender well .. you have two bbolts there too..
Hmm over by the side markers Undo the light easier to take of the bolts....
and also there are (two) bolts to unscrew and under the sides of the headlights when the bumper is off
All are metric 10 bolts and i found some phillips screw head ..
Sorry if that didnt help ....

I've been told that it's possible, but it's going to take a whole lot of DIY and a bit of knowledge to get it to work.
My own retrofits had to be realigned so that they would project straight and light up the road better but even before the alignment they were great. Although the auto-level feature would be cool, I simply went with bolts. The projectors were aimed perfectly and bolted into place so that they wouldn't move. They project very good now.
You'll love the retrofit. IMO, one of the best mods you can do for the GS (any headlight retrofit I mean).

I was unaware that he had the auto-level capability. That's pretty hot!
So the first person to do this also has the only set with autoleveling. Pretty cool!
