Default ...tint!?!

hey guys, i will re-do my tint (remove stock and will put b-cool) in a few weeks. but i'm not too sure about the rear, the shop cannot put a guarantee on it! i've seen a lot of this getting messed up in the long run, another problem in mind is the antenna i'm not familiar where it is located-i know it's somewhere there but.... i know a couple of tint shops that does great on installations but they don't carry the b-cool tints please help...thanx!

Why cant they guarantee the rear tint? I'm sure any competent shop can do it. For the antenna, I think its built into the rear windshield. The upper most metal loop. Correct me if im wrong.

If I recall correctly the reason that no guarantee can be given for the rear window is because of the fragile nature of the heating elements on the back window. Considering the tints rest on top of them, they can possilby become damaged when stripping old tint. I believe that is the problem...

that's the thing!!! specially when i mentioned it to the installer that the antenna is somewhere on the windows-he said that it will be really hard for them to take out the old tint which has been in the car since the day it left the dealer 8 years ago!!!

so is this antenna located at the edges (sides) of the window or does come along with the lines of the heater??? i've looked into it last night it seems that there's none but i just want to make sure of it. once i nstalled the b-cool for sure it'll stay there forever-only problem that's bothering me right now is removing this old tint!

I belive that the antenna is across the width of the window, just like the defrosters.

It's very fragile and could tear pretty easily leaving you with no radio reception.
