Looks great but I wouldn't pay more than $17,500-$18,000

What do you guys think it would be worth if it had 60K miles instead?

i just finished checking out the car. car is pretty damn clean. brand new rewrap leather seats front and back. body is straight and clean. only flaw was 2 little dents. wheels and tires and pretty brand new with a lil curb rash on one rim. other than that car is clean. but he wouldn't come down on price. so i said how much w/o the wheels and he said $18k. what do you guys think? should i pass or take?

Paul,

I would say about $20 for it with 60k.

Blazn,

The car would look silly without a decent set of wheels. Stick with your original price - if he wants to sell the car he will take the price. Otherwise don't rush. I picked up a better car with less miles and more mods for a lot cheaper - you can too.

i will tell you this. my 98 gs400 (no nav though) with 70k miles (and you know the car condition), it's only worth about 15k stock. you can use that as a base price

KBB.com says for a 99 GS with those miles would go for $16k at the highest for a private party sale. Even with the mods, it doesnt justify the $5k in mark up. I would offer AT THE HIGHEST $18,500.

if kbb says 16k, that means the market price is around 14-15k. i find that kbb most of the time is a bit higher than market

all depends on if you like the mods or not. new leather, tein, and lip kit + paint can easily cost $3500(i think). so if the price is $18000 w/o wheels. if you look for a stock 99 gs400 with 100,000 miles you are still looking at around $14,500 (if you can find a good deal around the bay area).

i think it depends on if you plan on fixing it up or not. and how much do you like the mods..

i think its a decent deal..

this is just my 2 cents.. hope this helps alittle.
