Nice Kev. One of the classiest cars on CL.

BTW, what bulbs are in your front parking lights in the pics? They look bright.

Looks great!!! I was wondering what the chrome headlight trim would look like with that paint. I may start shopping around for some. for Black Cherry GS's.

I was very hesitant about buying the car because of the color. I thought it looked to feminine, figuring it just wasn't "me". But I got a great deal, so I bought it.

And lo and behold, EVERYone else loved the color. I got compliments from all kinds of random people over the first few months. So, in the end, I fell in love with the color.

Now, I likes it alot....but it took some time to grow on me.

Here's the closeup, Uptown...

I never thought about painting the lugs or rivets. Might look hot. Hmmmm...now you got me thinking. I need a photoshop.

Hoping to paint brake drums and calipers this summer, either silver or dark cherry (to match the paint). I'm leaning towards silver for the calipers, and dark cherry drums.

Lex, this was shot in the back room of one of the Smithsonian Art buildings in Washington DC. I was helping my friend pack up his wife's paintings (she was a part of an exhibit earlier in the day @ the Smithsonian). It was late, and we just happened to be in a corridor that lead into the storage room...and the corridor had that spotlight, well, emergency light.

I begged the two security guards to allow me to pull my car in and take some pictures. First they said, "No way". I finally showed them my car after some prodding from my friend I was with, and they gave it two thumbs up. So then they said, "OK, but only for like 10 minutes". They they got all into it too, helping me reposition the car for various shots and stuff. 60 minutes later, my photoshoot was wrapping up.

Here's one more from that night, taken out front. A lot of them came out blurry. Only about 10 of about 60 pictures were clear enough to keep, even though I use a tripod. Many were just slightly blurry, but enough so that they weren't worth keeping. I suck at this photography sh@#! Plus, I need a better camera, or better understand the one that I have. I think a daytime photoshoot is next, just for a hopeful confidence boost.

Thanks, the car rarely sees rain so it's easy to keep clean, really. Just a microfiber cloth and some Meguiar's Fast Wax does the trick.
