i have the 1998 lexus which didn't come with an engine cover (more like an intake manifold cover :P) but it does fit i know this because when we installed it on GS T.O's GS3 with Engine Cover it fit perfect with the cover on

The Weapon R looks very similar to my Injen on my 430, except it is blue instead of red. The Weapon R actually has more pipe junctions and assorted clamps in the system. The Injen connects at the engine and filter only, all the rest is solid pipe, albeit in the aluminized-chrome-alloy metal. I like how the Weapon R looks, but the Injen is simpler and only $200.

1.where did you get it?

2.is it loud? do you notice any sig improvement over stock?

3. would it fit gs400?

I got it at www.Nipponpower.com. It looks like Injen started the product line with the 430 versions of the LS, SC, and GS, but you can email phillip@injen.com and he is one of the engineers who could answer that.

Is it loud. . .YES! But it is a healthy loud, and unless you are stomping it, you hear only a slight burble or hiss under normal driving. If you stomp on it, you will hear the thunder.

Performance gains. . .too early to tell. The car only has 1200 miles on it and I have only been to the drag strip once with the stock system. I will be able to tell you in a week hopefully.
