it might be this one:

http://www.buysell.com/root/detail/B...4dr_Sedan.aspx

it says "just arrived", despite the fact i went to see this thing at that dealership over a year ago. when i saw it it was in really rough shape and didn't look anywhere as nice as what is shown above. and had a set of badly curbed carlssons on it, not the wheels shown in the pics posted. the front bumper was held on with a ziptie, parts of the lower side panels were missing, the interior was a mess... i don't know what happened

I think it would look killer. But I personally would not do the trunk and hood, it would totally give your car a 'tuner' theme (unless thast what you want). I see alot of Euros do this to their A4's, S4's I have even seen E46 sedans and coupes and E39's with it. I think it ads a peformance look to the car but keeps it classic too at the same time.

yeah even a black painted roof top would look great
looks great on a white car but not sure about my millennium silver
the downside is taking care of the black pain on the roof

thats always the hardest part to wax and such
*shrugs*

i would VERY interested in doing this project...seriously...constructing a hood MADE out of carbon fiber would be very impressive...honestly i am not a fan of overlays...

to do it right tho...i would guess at least 7k...I already know how much m3 guys spend on this mod....

for those who have seen the m6 up close...this carbon fiber roof is pure sex!

i would imagine...the first step would be finding a used roof...and using that as a template to create the molding? again only a guess tho

and i would use DRY carbon fiber...again this is only IMO

I have a 2000 Silver GS400 PE and I am thinking about doing CF on the hood, trunk, roof, and interior. I just need to find the rite person to take care of my baby I will probably start looking to get this done around June. I will keep everyone posted with pics when I get it started.

i have this planned for late this summer, however i am not replacing the roof, but covering it. i know it isn't weight saving but it is for my visual look of the carbon fiber two tone
