Ok, the stock powertrain warranty is about to end, as I am going to hit 70K miles this week. When I purchased the car, I did buy an extended warranty that covers nearly everything, and this will take me to nearly 100K miles, with only a $50 deductable.
I was wondering if there is anything I should before my stock warranty ends. Can I make an appointment with the dealer to have them give it a 'once over' in the hopes to find something that might go wrong? Would they even do this? Or should I just drive on and not worry about it?
Thanks!

I called the dealer and the deal is they will charge me $80 to do the inspection (1 hour to hook up computer and check it out). Anything found would be fixed under warranty. Worth the $80?

No.
Look for a dealer that will take a look at it for free. Or maybe it was just the service consultant. You guys have to realize that they work on commision, if it looks like they are not going to make money of you, they will try to blow you off so they can make a commision from the next guy. They take turns, so if he writes up your checkover, there goes his shot at making $$ and he will have to wait until it's his turn again.
Ask to speak with the boss and you should get results.
