That would be a definite NO. This is the T3 turbo from Greddy, it's about the size of my fist. First, off I wouldn't even put that in my old civic. You would have to bend the piping to fit the GS and it doesn't even come with an intercooler. Basically, it's a CRAP turbo, too small, cheap parts, weak boost, incomplete setup and should not even be within a mile of a GS with the hood up.

Well I wouldnt say no off the bat I would say I would not offer more than $50 for that .. 1st its a used Turbo 2nd you can not know the condition of it until you open it and recive it...
If you are really looking for a Turbo to fool around with (like I am doing) go to www.turbocity.com
Turbos of all shapes and sizes New or rebuilt from $50+
Pipings U bends Rubber, strapes, and the whole deal ,,, you can call them and ask they are very helpful and good to deal with.
One thing some people would use and intercooler some people wont ,, it all depends on what size turbo you are using and what pressure.

There is no way in hell I am putting a 50 dollar turbo in my GS. Basically, I wouldn't even buy a turbo that wasn't specifically designed for the car. I know there are GS turbos out there, I've seen 3 of them in person. Basically you're risking a whole of money on a turbo that might not be able to boost anything. You don't know if the bearings are still good (or if there are any!). But the T3 turbo is a definite no. If I recall correctly, during my rice rocket days that turbo put on about 6hp at like 7lbs of boost. Thats barely anything at all~! The piping was barely over 2.5". I just remember laughing at people who had this turbo in their honda/acuras, now imagine how hard I would laugh seeing that thing in a V6-V8.
Basically, you don't want to buy a turbo where it has been used and they won't guarantee quality. Buying a used turbo and getting the turbs, bearings and housing inspected and possibly changed can cost you 120-280 bucks alone. And that doesn't include the piping and seeing how they fit. Trust me it's a pain in the butt to get the piping customed and it usally means welding, cutting and mandrel bending pre-bent pipes. Which equals UGLY. So any money you think you would save by buying a used turbo, you will spend it inspecting, refurbishing and customizing to fit your Lexus.
Note: I personally like superchargers better for V6+.
