That is a good price for a GS now. I paid more than twice that and a half for mine back in 2000. Don't cut corners when it comes to modding the car. Yeah its a Lexus, and it gives other the impression that you have arrived. Get quality aftermarket parts for it, and have it installed in the same manner, not slapped on the Pepboys way. Good luck with the car and congrats

Contrary to popular new members opinions - there is a lot of aftermarket support for our cars. Do some searches, check out the electronics section for a start for the 10" sub you are talking about.

Third take your time and read and read and read. Browse through the gallery sections and your eyes will be like this then this then this
I too started out wanting to spend as little as possible (no offense to you) to get the most of what I can.
But the more I pay attention and from the advice of members here, I've learned to take things slowly and to DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME (as much as possible ).
Heck, we're fortunate to have the old veterans lead the way and test those land mines for us
You will save lots of $ (from remorse/mistakes) and more important a big HEADACHE.
Oh, don't forget to use search on the upper left hand. It's very handy and useful.
Don't forget the subcategories: audio/suspensions/engines/FI
Wheww...sorry about the preaching.
