Default DIY grill

After i detailed my baby... i was feelin good so i decided to do the ol' grill chroming
- Took the grill off
- Towel in hand
- Acetone dabbed on towel
- Rubbed front fache of grill.. removing the clear on the paint surface
- Removed paint with razor blade
- Reveiling sexy chrome

i think its a more classy grown look..
along the theme im eventually goona start... soon

That's all you have to do? hrmm..

I have 4 lines of chrome missing. So all I really have to do is clean the surface and use a knife to remove the surface paint?

Does this sound backwards to anyone else? Or do you mean you have 4 lines of chrome showing? Just trying to make sure he is getting what he is looking for. Because if the grill is already black then he should have four lines of chrome showing( not missing). And if he is already chrome then no amount of taking a knife to the grill will bring the chrome back. Does my line of reasoning make sense to anyone else?
