Benny,

try this

www.magnaflow.com

under parts and tips. i recommend its #35128 4" Oval, Angle Cut, double wall that is made of t-304 polished stainless steel. they fill out the bumper gap nicely adn the quality is awesome, esp if you just want the LOOK and no noise increase. check w/your local dealer for prices. the lowest price i found here is ~$150 for 2 tips.

PM me if you cannot find any there, i will ship them to you.

Default Exhaust tips

Try and get the 2000 Platinum Series tips, they are definitely bigger than your stock 98 and fill the gaps nicely, or see if there is anyone willing to sell their old exhaust if they replaced with an aftermarket. I have replaced mine, but do not wish to sell my original exhaust...sorry.

I have some Greddy Exhaust tips I cut off my Greddy exhaust. They have a slight angle at the tip end and are 4.5" in diameter on the outside end and 3" on the other....

E-mail me at Brent.Liu@stjohns.org if interested...

That looks VERY much like an L-Tuned exhaust tip.

What is the largest size diameter of outlet that will fit in the factory bumper? Also, what is the inlet diameter?

Benny, I can get these tips to you for about $100 delivered. They would cost you about $20-40 to have them installed by someone who knows how to work with Stainless, you can't just weld it like a normal muffler. Mine are 4.5" with a 2 1/4 inlet that fit over (but not snug) my 430 exhaust. Some like the tip smaller. I can get it in a 4" as well. It is 6" long with a rolled edge. Made from aircraft quality, bright polished, 304 series stainless steel.

The 4.5" will fill it up to the max - I could have had them mounted tighter to the bumper cutout but I wasn't sure if they would get too hot. The 4" would look awesome as well. Got to go stainless so they don't rust, as chrome rusts.

Let me know. I plan on posting these tips under classified, but the price is about to go up from the manufacturer.
