Got some new HID bulbs. Philips 6000k D2R Bright White Xenon bulbs. Testing the 1st set in US. I'll have them for at least a week and might be able to keep it

It's VERY VERY NICE. Very bright, THEY'RE BRIGHTER THAN MY HIGH BEAMS!!!!!!!!.

Very nice color. Bluish/Purplish. The closer the bluer. Brighter than BMW/Benz/S2000 projectors or any HID on the street today. 6000k brightness isn't legal yet.

sorry the pics are very blurry. My digicam sucks and I was shaking too much. But as you can see they're very bright. As bright as my high beams. HBs are just farther now, but they're even almost as far as the HBs too.







Gs400TRD these are not available in US yet. I got them in Japan, and these were just released a short while ago. Retail price is about 54,000 yen (about 500 USD).

I believe we'll get it officially here to the US soon enough.

I swear I saw it at a japanese link for like $29,000 ye. for a set Piaaa 6000k HID. If I find the site...maybe we can get someone here with connections to get us a group buy for like $300???

DEFINATELY !! I am 100% interested in those ! Anyone that can get them, let me know ! Just to make this straight once and for all, these are REAL HID bulbs right? Its not those imitation ones for people who don't have HID's, right?

I am working on piaa hid bulbs. Globeclk are those the bulbs just replace the stock hid right??

Yes I also replaced the inner high beam bulbs and the wedge bulbs also. The only stock bulbs are the blinker ones.

I'm sure the price will go down. They've only been out for a very short time, but eventually the price will drop. Hopefully to a more acceptable range.

Yes they are READ HID bulbs. They pretty much look the same as the ones I took out, but the wire protector piece is purple rather than brown. And the xenon gas chamber looks like it's a different color also. They're not those fake initation HID- lookalike halogens.

Yes they're just plug and play.

Hey guys,

Sort of off topic, but how much would it cost for a HID Conversion for my 95 LS400.. I have been wanting to get them for a while.

Any info about brands, prices, and places to buy them would be much appreciated.

Also, tell me which brands to stay away from.
