What GS inspired you to buy or build your current GS?

My journey.
Nadia pic but there's the 210
Ive had a b210 all nodded and still got it. Got a 90 TT Z in 96. Still got that too. In 96 or 97 i happenedo visit Miami and went ti.the auto show.
At the threshold into the arena was a GS on display placed j st before you walk in. It was new and coming. It liked great . Sort of class fast like an 80s AMG 500. But i knew ot would never come to Trinidad. Bit in about 2002 they seeped on as used hap imports. I actually had a friend ask me to.get him a Z like my TT and explained they practicality of the turbo GS over the Z since he wanted speed.
That was about 2002. It costvat the time about twice what I paid for my Z so i would have to.wait till it went down or i became more prosperous. I did the latter and searched to neat death frustration to get someone to sell me one locally as they were now past the Sheldon to import directly. I bought a new Hilux which....i still have. Then since 2009 -2017 I searched until i finally got an original 100k km Aristo with Nav and 2jzgte.
Bought staggered 19s. Pioneer Edin installed. Got a Borg warner and all the speed stuff almost ready to.install. wanna keep it tranny friendly so about 400Hp. Tnkering with the stance with some Twins soon. Yes ill spend money. But ill have fun at half the price of a new Civic. So some Kickers are coming for the sound But in the end i will keep that one too. Not a hoarder but i cant let a great car go. And the one my friend got. He still has it even one 3.5camry later and now a Uk Ex200t FSport. I tried him over the years but he never wanted to sell.
so long story but the Miami international auto show of 97 or 98:-)

Okay I’m not 100% sure if he’s on here or not but his ig name : oz_430. Way back I’m talking back in 2013 when I had E46. I always had my eyes on 2nd gen GS I never thought of knowing one until 2 years ago. I bought it as a daily for work. Which now ended up being unable to driven daily lol. Anyways after seeing oz_430 made me fell in love more with my GS, his build motivates me to finish my build. Here’s few pics of his car.

I thought this was a really cool thread and wanted to bump it up for the newer members on here.
The GS’ that inspired me were actually both local Club Lexus members I saw at a Lexus meet in 2010. I didn’t meat the actual owners until later on but those were the first modded GS’ I remember seeing. It was Whazzzzuup and Lo_dit. I met Whazzzzuup a few months later just before his extremely clean GS400 got totaled. Lo_dit’s black on black GS430 was equally as stunning and I bought his last set of wheels to throw on my SC300. I regret not buying his actual car or his family’s old ES300 he offered to sell me 10 years ago. These guys had the cleanest GS’ in the OKC metro and I hope to have a quality build like they did. I have had Lo_dit’s GS430 as my background on an old laptop for 10 years to keep me motivated to save up for his wheels.
The member that really pushed me to get a GS and an LX470 was the legendary ThomasGS4 when we met at a Lexus corporate sales training event in Dallas in 2017. I had seen his posts for years in the SC forums. Turns out he brought his black L-Tuned GS400 to the event and we ended up hanging out a lot during our two days together. He took a few of us out to eat that evening in his super LX470, and later on let me check out his 97 SC400 he had at the time. Every car he owns is clean, classy, and top notch.
Unfortunately I only have these older pics of Whazzzzup’s GS400 on this iPad. I have some pics of Lo_dit’s and ThomasGS4’s cars on another computer or phone.

A few years after meeting ThomasGS4 I bought my white 2001 GS300 and really started browsing the GS forums for some of the OG guys’ builds and came across a few that I couldn’t stop drooling over. There’s a few I forgot to mention too.
-BlueLex’s blue GS
-DaveGS4’s stunning GS400. Absolutely stunning car built by the Club Lexus administrator himself.
-ThomasGS4’s Sport Design GS300 he had after selling his GS400.
-A local guy that had a beat up twin version of my white GS300. He really cleaned it up and dropped it on Works. He later got a black on black GS430 and moved his parts to it. Now my second GS is identical to his GS430 except it’s a 300 instead. I think he’s a member on here too.
-My fellow moderator Firelizard is one I forgot. I like how classy his GS looks and his car is one of my favorites on here right now.
