My 02 GS300 just hit 87,000. Decided to do the 90k service and timing belt a bit early to get it done before winter. Mechanic said the car was as clean and mechanically sound as he has ever seen. Should get 250k easily if properly maintained.

At what point did you have your struts/shocks replaced? Was it an expensive fix?

That's incredible! Keep us posted as to how it performs for you. At the rate I'm going, it will take nearly 20 years for me to hit 305k on my 02 GS300!

Mine are factory as far as I know, they are solid and firm still, good rate of dampening. Not like GM crap that has drove me batty for years being so underdampened. And the aftermarket crap (Monroe and Gabriel) are worse than factory specs. GM doesn't get it.... People do NOT WANT mush mush much suspensions!

I've got a 02 with 106K miles and I've had it for four months, so I've put on 3000 miles. I had to change the catalytics for $1000 because one of them was plugged but decided to do both.
TIming belt and water pump are overdue but I think I'll be ok until spring. Ride and handling are great.
