NOPI St. Louis almost finished, but I didn't get a chance to paint the hood.

Hope everyone likes it. I have to get some sleep now.

The hood painted will make a big difference ( I assume you are painting the side of the hood silver and leaving the middle?) Also some coilovers with a nice drop will set it off great.

What color interior is that? Tan or Gray?

Big congrats man, hope you knocked them dead at Nopi. I'm not trying to nick pick the car but I think you should have had them paint the kit on the car so that the kit would match up perfect with the rest of the blue bottom. I recently had the same problem when painting my front bumper over. It kept being off by a little either too light or too dark until the told me I had to leave them my car so they could match it up and blend it in to be perfect. Its hard to match off the car most times. I really love the thought that went into this new make over. The scheme is real tuner which I love. Once we slam that car a little more it will make the lines on the vertex kit really pop off. Also I have to mention how great those teeth look popping out the front bumper.. crazy man , big Congrats. I hope you can make it out to Lexfest in Sept. I would love to see it in person.

Job well done. You really hauled a$$ to get the car done in time. I like the silver on blue.

ps I know who I am calling if I start a boosted SC project this winter.

It is a BASF blue candy from there carizma line.

on the front bumper we would have painted it on the car but it would have been almost imposable ot get the inside of the openings withiout running the paint. It is going to be repainted because the fiberglass had som pin holes in it. It will be done on the car then so we can blend it. We just symply ran out of time and the candy is much harder to match than a standard paint.

Cool, makes sense about the running paint. That has to be the fastest make over I ever seen so now that you have time it should be prefect. Did you win any awards at Nopi. You had to have knocked them dead with that car and motor.

Just got home I took first in my class. The shop entered 4 cars and took 3 firsts and one second. It was a good weekend and I am shot.

Thanks everyone.

Can you take a pic of the front bumper head on, I wanna see what the IC looks like with that kit.

BTW the bumpers don't look finished without the chrome trim. If you were planning on leaving em off, you should remove the trim by the doors or have the recessed trim areas "shaved"
