Stock looks better but if painted was a little less dark it would look good.

Cliffud- Yea I think with your color lighter is better. I have burnished and was considering doing the same thing. Different can be better, good looks are in the eye of the beholder. I think I will go bright silver metallic with a high gloss. I will post pics when I do but this could be a few weeks.

Both look of.. the painted ones may look even better if they were bigger..

In person (I've been over at Cliffud's while he is working on these) I lean towards the painted. In that photoshop comparison I think the silver is good. Hard to say. I think most of it comes down to the look you're trying to achieve.
