well as some of you may know california speedway has opened its dragstrip to the public. i took my honda and i was quite pleased with my times. the next race is this weekend and im wondering if its worth taking my gs and actually clocking it? whats the best time you guys have gotten with a stock gs300, also what do gs400s get? BTW my little honda was running 13.9 stock!!!!

i don't think it's worth it taking the GS300 to be clocked. GS300s aren't fast 0-60 or 1/4 mile. GS300s get fast beyod 100mph which is already past 1/4 mile.

GS400s get 13.9 too I think. Not bad for a huge sedan.


And I've heard that they're discontinuing S2k for 2002 because they're suppose to be limited anniversary vehicles anyways? Is that true?

The latest road and track has it receiving a glass rear window and defroster for 2002, but they could be wrong (god knows their speed tests are)

s2000 also getting a new color , mugen blue if i read right .

Stock gs 300 according to mags will run 15.7 . If your gs 300 is stock i would say its not worth it . But if you have mods it might be nice to run it to see any improvements .

oh thanks for the input guys... as for the s2k, the 02 models should be the last year they are produced. the 02's will include a rear glass window like someone mentioned, a smother tranny, and the addition of two colors, suzuka blue and sebring silver... oh ya in a upgraded interior and sound system. good improvments, but i still wish they could make a faster s2000 type R!!!
