Well i paid 340.00 for the 15k service . It's really just an oil change plus a transmission change plus inspect your car.

At first i thought i was getting ripped because i didn't think the transmission fluid needed changing that early . But my car did shift smoother after the service so i'm happy.

I paid $325 for my 15k service.. The price depends on which dealer you go to. This other Lexus dealer wanted $375. So check with different Lexus dealers around your area.

jahdish,

Unless you're going up there for other reasons than the service (which is very likely), you might consider driving down to Hendrick in Charlotte. Should be closer, about 3 hrs vs 4 1/2.

Maybe the service requirements for the 400 are different than my 300 but I did the service myself. Simple oil change, airfilter check, check the torque on the driveshaft bolts, check the tranny fluid, brake fluid, ps fluid, coolant. I also did a basic brake pad check and checked the boots on all the drive and steering components as I rotated my tires. I followed the service recommendations in the owners manual and kept all my receipts for warranty info. This car has been absolutely flawless for the almost 20K miles we have on it. Just my 2 cents worth.
