I had the srt intake installed last weekend and definetly noticed a difference in mpg. I don't have exact numbers, because I didn't calculate actual mpg before the install. However, I made it to D.C. on 3/4 of a tank, had the install done at srt, filled it back up to 3/4 tank and drove around D.C., back home and an additional 30-40 miles before the need to fill again. There's definetly some improvement, and I was driving it alot harder on the way home than I did on the way down.

I've had an injen intake and RMM mufflers on my 430 for about a year- no noticeable difference in power or mileage- but it does sound a lot more like a V8 should.

Valid point... I used to have a 2002 Honda Insight (45-70mpg). The difference in gas mileage was huge depending on your driving style.

In theory it is...but after you get mods, you always push the car harder. It gives you an excuse to hear the exhaust that cost so many pretty pennies.

I have never believed what my nav says - always told me I ws getting better mpg than I knew I was getting. Especially if I had been getting on it pretty hard and my average was 25?? Not a chance!! Try 15!!

Well . . . Like I said in a previous reply you have one special GS400. Most of the inputs are in the mid teen range (eg 15 to 17).

Does your town have any stop signs or stop lights?

LOL

Dang, you have a freak car . That is some unbelievable milage. Are you sure you aren't running on 6 cylinders . Congrats on that milage. I can't remember that last time I made it to 300+ miles on my ODO .

I routinely get 300 miles and that too on just 60 liters of fuel.

Maybe the 400 is just getting better milage than the 430? Hameed, are you typically driving highway? I drive city about 98%.

Default Gas mileage

Hi all,
My car is bone stock. After getting the K&N drop in filter, I notice my MPG went up a bit (maybe 2 m/gal). Right now, I'm getting 19 m/gal. I'd say I'm on the freeway 40% of the time.

I drive 50% city and 50% highway. I always reset my "A" odometer to zero on fill up and I usually fill up when the tank is 60 liters empty. I always get between 450 Km to 500 Km on those 60 liters - which is roughly between 270 to 300 miles.
