clear bra, aero tect, vinyl for GS
i had a bunch of little cracks from rocks and what not... people parking and bumping into me...
so i recently got my bumpers repainted. i saw a website selling a front bumpter kit of this clear bra thing... but no one has it for the rear bumper. does anybody know a retailer that sells a kit for the rear bumper or knows someone in the NYC area that can do the rear?
and is this clear bra/aero tect/ vinyl stuff worth the money?

A Clear bra for the rear is a big waste of money.....it isnt going to protect you from people bumping into you. It will be a custom job and probably cost about 300-500 to have that done for the rear. Dont bother imo. As for doing the front.....I would recommend having it professionally done cause it is very difficult to do the right way. And a bad job will look like azz. Wait about 30 days after your paint job if you decide to do it. Good luck

The rear might help him Desert. If he is not getting dented and just getting scratched I think the back will really help you out. Just depends on if you want to shell out the cash for it or not.

If the car is being parked in the street, clear bra on the rear bumper won't do crap. If it is being parked in a lot, order a pair of bumper pads from http://www.bumperpad.com/ I have a set that I use when I go to the city and park in a lot.
