Lexbox: Yah I'm going to paint the calipers some subtle color soon. Probably silver or black.

Will: They're the same color but I guess it's really hard to match metallic silver, especially when viewed under sunlight
Hey Globe!

Nice set of rims! The dark color looks really good on a silver car. Remember my dark wheels on my black GS? Too Dark! LOL!

Have you seen my updated set of 20's? Looks like both you and I need new sigs. Wanna do mine?

I love the fact that all the silver GS's are poppin up this week!!!

This ride is yet another case for the versatility of the almighty 2nd Gen GS.

Now lets get some video of this bad boy going sideways!!!

As long an you like it is all that matters.

Personally, I can't seem to find a flow with the kit since the seams are thick. The wheels might look best with Black Onyx or Black Cherry GS. The spoiler and side sticker...no comment.

I would have gone with some kind of chrome or polished lip, and more low key spoiler, droped lower, but I see your going more for a sporty look. It looks nice and sporty.

Ray, what a spectacular choice! I love how you stay true to yourself and don't get influenced. What an Original GS!

More pics please!

I agree. The wheels look great, but a more subtle spoiler will make the car that much nicer looking, IMO...

Thanks for all the comments guys. Really appreciate it

Brent, I haven't seen your wheels! where are the pics? The last time I met you was like 5 years ago!

Many people don't like the C-One spoiler, but I've been thinking about it since the 2nd day I bought my GS. I saw it on an 1999 issue of Options magazine, and I've always said to myself that I'm going to get a C-One rear spoiler no matter how over-sporty it is on a GS.

So since I got the spoiler last year during a relative's trip to Japan, I've been hearing both sides of comments, both good and bad. It might be sporty to some, but I think if a company makes it for the Aristo (and not some knock-off company ripping some other car's wing), then it's there for a purpose. I had the Win.Racing style rear spoiler from 2001 ~ 2005, as more people get that, I needed to move on.

At least I'm the only person I know on CL (or anywhere in the US lol) sporting a C-One spoiler. Can't beat being unique.

some more pics I took this afternoon:

When driving, only the small polished lip shows. Everything else is dark.

That means, it looks like a 16" wheel when going around town

The rear is a "face-2", meaning the spokes reach inward towards the center hub. Really aggressive. (R34 GT-R style)

Close-up of the rear wheel.

Next mod to come: Painting my calipers! Should I do silver or black or gold?

any suggestions?

I like your spoiler. I actually recall your spoiler on my favorite GS of all time. Matin Kraft's GS400

Well Martin's spoiler is actually the Blitz spoiler, and mine is the C-One. Similar style.
