Default Finally got new RIMS for my GS

Here are some quick shots.

Geeze it's been a long wait. I've been rolling on some drifter wheels for like 3 years (Work Equip Voggard, 17 inch). Now I'm finally moving to some real wheels that'll match the GS perfectly.

They are PIAA FR-S wheels. 18 x 8.5 front, 18 x 9.5 rear. Perfect offsets for the GS (called PIAA to confirm them). Tires are 245/40/18 and 275/35/18.

PIAA calls it the "Under Cut Polished Lip", where the polished lip is actually behind the spokes. i think that's pretty neat.

I also replaced my worn-out Bilstein shocks with new KYB shocks. That's why the car is sitting higher than before (trust me, shocks DO affect ride height. At least when comparing to dead shocks.)

Default Another one for the Silverado's this week!

What's going on with all the Silver GS's breakiing out their mods at the same time? I like those wheels better on your car!

Globe- I love the new wheels man. I can say that i was feeling your old set, looked a little odd to me, but you said they were drifter rims, so i understand them a little better now. I like how the ARISTO is down the side of your car, i never saw that before.

the new wheels look much better than the old ones in your sig (I'm assuming those are the drifter ones you were talking about?). Will the new springs settle and lower the stance of the car eventually? At first glance, I thought the wheels were 19's, not 18's...good choice

looks pretty good...

only thing that bothers me: is the lip and sideskirts different color as the car? Or is it just my monitor?

Much better than the old wheels. They dont look like 18's, more like a 19. I think with a little more of a drop it would be

thanks for the comments guys.

JohnGS4: Those are JDM Aristo sidestripes that was offered as a limited edition production back in 1999.

blacksc400: Yah that's what most people think lol. But hey I really like C-One. What's the TRD or TOM's you were referring to?

Lexbox: Yah I'm going to paint the calipers some subtle color soon. Probably silver or black.

Will: They're the same color but I guess it's really hard to match metallic silver, especially when viewed under sunlight
