Default Noise coming from a/c vents?

Has anyone experienced a clicking-like noise coming from inside the dash? It almost sounds like bb's roling around. It seems to have started with the warm weather? A/C maybe? Thanks!

pretty strange you bring this up..i thought i was goin nuts and my ac fan somehow just got louder out of no where...since earlier this spring...i wouldnt call it a clicking noise but it definitely sounds like a fan rotating and well yeah maybe "clicking" around louder then it should be.. and its never done this before with the air on in the past

I'm telling you guys that it's possessed since 6-6-06 is coming

I had the same thing and it was low coolant
It sounds like gravel behind the center vent everytime you accelerate right?

It's the coolant in the radiator towards the front. If it was never checked before, most likely it's low.

And coincidentally, my glove box was loose b/c I was working on some audio wiring and that made some weird felt/gravel noise too, but that can be heard towards the right side.

Gurgling or bubbling were also used to describe similar problems. Every now and then I hear chirping from the glovebox. I thought some birds got in there at first but Im not sure now

Mine is a faint whirring noise, kind of like crickets chirping in the distance or like the sound a CD player makes when it's scanning for a track on a CD. If I turn off the a/c button (even if the fan is still on), the noise stops. Is that what you guys have been experiencing?

yeh i have the same noise...it's kinda like a gurgle. I checked my coolant and it seems ok. It's not all the way to max but it's in between "low" and "full". Maybe I should try adding some to full mark.

Can I ask a really dumb question? Does coolant have anything to do with the A/C system? I thought the two systems were completely different.

I found the problem. It's a plugged A/C drain tube. See the post below for pics and directions.
