Default "Nice Mod" by error

ok, i don't know if this is normal with every GS but i realised when my car is turned off even with no keys in ignition, my power windows can still be rolled down and up. maybe i triggered something when i took off my passenger door panel 2 days ago.
anyways if it does not affect nothing else am not even gonna troubleshoot it cos i like it .
it is my "mod by error"
what do u guys think?

Mine does that too, well after you take the key out of the ignition as long as you don't open any of the doors the windows are still active but after you open the door it loses power and doesn't come back until you put the keys back in, is that what yours does?

Windows and sunroof are active for 30 sec after ignition has been turned off and no door opened, if I recall correctly. Once a door is opened on the car it cuts off the power to the window and sunroof.

Thumbs up

Actually it was complained of that Lexus accessory power is only so short and cut off when you open the doors. Some owners with other vehicles, I think some domestics, retain their power much longer.

Here's a good reading for you oldog:

I put in "cool hidden feature" for the 2nd gen GS:

That also surprised me when I found out by accident. There are several other neat features I am sure you will stumble upon.

Not everyone has taken the time to read their owner's manual.
