Default Finally pics of the "new" GS3 + Poorman's Xenons [oh and the airbox :-)]

Finally got it cleaned- and got the H.I.D.'s installed. So far- Debadged, Chromed the grille, and did a ghetto airbox mod :-p If someone needs Xenons in the tri state area, shoot me a pm

Just curious. What is this ghetto air box mod? I can't see much of what this is in the pics.

Default Bellex's Gs3 Airbox Mod on a budget (originated from maxima.org)

Oh and btw those xenons are an aftermarket 8000k kit- cheapest ive seen for a xenon kit (using stock GS300 headlamps) It's not stock but its great for me!!

LOL. I guess I understood the "hood" in the wrong context. For some reason, I thought you meant you did something to the hood to funnel more air to the airbox. I was staring at the dark pics of the hood to see if you added some inlet.

he put a coat hanger in between the top and bottom of the airbox from what i can see.

Bellex, I don't get what the airbox mod does? Is it just to prevent stray dust particles from entering on the seams? Or do you run it without the cover on top? If thats the case wouldn't it suck in a lot of the hot air from the engine bay?
