Looks like its time to start thinking about the cold New York winter. The 18's with z rates tires will not be good in the snow tried that last year and got into a little accident. This year I am investing into some all season tires. I will be running my stock 17 alloy wheels in the winter they currently have the original bridgestones mounted on them. I need a good all season 17 tire that will have good handling in the snow. What brand and what size do you guys recommend. Also where should I purchase them for a good price? Thanks

Check the Tirerack http://www.tirerack.com the Pirelli Winter tires rated very well, or you can get a set of 16" takeoff wheels with Blizzak's, but they are an extreme snow tire (too soft for NY - not enough snow on the ground at all times). Take a look and check the reviews its a very informative website.

Can I drive on these tires 6 months out of the year. I dont plan to go back to chrome to April and will probably put them on in November. Took a look at tire rack seems like the Dunlop Winter Sport M2 and Pirelli Winter 210 SnowSport in 235-35-17 are my choices right now.
