Replacing windshield with aftermarket glass -- ADVICE NEEDED

According to Lexus published spec , only the door glass is water-repellant........... I see nothing anywhere about windshield glass being water repellant on any models
Where I live RainX and the like fail miserably if it drizzles (which it's doing 24/7) and you're going <50KPH
I stripped mine off.............which is another story
Any comments?
