Default Please use the right section...

There's tons of questions in the main GS300/400/430 section on suspension, brakes, tires, rims, exhausts, intakes, etc.

There's two sub-sections specifically for these things. Please post them there.

Moderators, can you move them to the right section as you see them?

Sections:

Suspension and handling section
Suspension set-ups, brakes, tires, wheels, etc.

Engine/Transmission section
... intakes, exhausts, super/turbo kits, transmissions, etc...

Bit,

I understand what you are trying to get at. But a lot of this folks want quick answers and it does seem that most members go to the main page first - at least that's usually what I do. I forget to go to the other 2 sections because the threads are not prominently displayed on them.

In fact, if everyone did that, what topics would be left in this main forum area?

It's not that I don't agree with you. It's just that it's not that easy of a thing for everyone to do. JMHO.

i agree. I have a gs400 so i post in this forum any questions i have even if it could relate to an is or ls or sc. If we posted all those other things in the other subsection forums what would we post here? Honestly im just curious. I could say again how much i love my gs400 but that gets pretty old.

Good question - therefore, why have the other sections at all?

Although there's tons of other questions besides those mod type questions, like pricing, where to buy one, colors/configurations, problems, dealers, other model info, rumors, etc.

I got a rumor. I hear this same thing is going on over in the SC3/4 section.

I think they finally gave up....because not many people actually read the top sections. I even had to start posting up there, and then ALSO posting in the regular section saying "check up top for ..."

the one I think is the most useless is probably the MEETING forum. Noone checks that much, and if we post in the GS/IS/SC forums everyone will see (I"m sure LS and RX and ES people checks those forums too) we get NO traffic there.

Bit, I agree that some things, especially posts about sale items, should be moved to that specific forum. I also agree with Brent, what would be posted in the GS forum?? I frequent this forum (LS owner) because of the "traffic" and the level of MOST discussions, but the GS forum is the largest forum and the sub-forums don't get utilized. Sub-sections for the other models are almost useless. Maybe if instead of sub-sections for each model, there could be suspension/handling and engine/drivetrain sections as a forum of it's own that all the other sub-sections could link to. Why not a specific wheel sub-section under the same premise??
