Crooked wheel after alignment

Is there a way for me to center the wheel myself or does it have to do with the alignment (therefore be done by the mechanic)? I didn't want to have to take it back to the place that did the alignment. If I do take it back, any ideas on how long it takes to square that joker up?
Thanks for any insight.

it's part of the alignment, you gotta take it back, no telling how long it'll take.. very sloppy on their part that it wasn't corrected the first time.. (you shouldn't be charged for it either)

Just to confirm, your car tracks straight and true but your steering wheel is crooked, right? I had this issue a while back and I took it to the dealer. The car went straight, but the steering wheel was turned a tad right. The head tech climbed under my front right wheel with some type of tool, cranked it a few times, and wallah, the wheel was straight. It took all of 30 seconds and there was no charge.
