Default Woe is Me!

Has anyone ever forgot to wind up their windows (after a good cleaning of the leather seats) and then it rained. After it was raining for an hour and then I realised (careless me) i forgot to wind up the windows!

Therefor window controls, seats and floor bases were soaking wet. I;m lucky that the rain did not impact on the ignition switch

Would it be a problem if water soaked or got into the window control panels?

dont worry, your not the only one. I believe others in the past either left their windows down, and one I believe left his sunroof open! It happens...sometimes we just forget these things. Have the controls had time to dry off?

Just let them dry out and they should be top notch. And trust me you are not the only one!

if you're real worried about it, disconnect the battery so the switches don't short while they are drying out.

Well, looks like they designed it to be somewhat water-resistant for these occasions
