From Boston to Texas***blk cherry GS430
My trip was a trip
I finally picked me up a GS
to be exact, I picked me up a 2001 Black cherry pearl GS430 with 48k
The car is in prestine condition and I could't be happier.
My trip on the other hand, now that was tough
I jumped on a plane Friday morning to Boston, arrived and spent the night there.
woke up and went to pick up the GS.
I left Boston Saturday around noon.
picked up an atlas and hit the road
I wemt from Boston to Conneticut to New York to New Jersey to Pennsylvania to Delaware to Maryland to Washington to Virginia to Tennesee to Arkansas and finally back to Texas.
28 hours straight and I'm back home.

I must say Virginia Tennesse and Arkansas were definitley the hardest.
It took me five hours to cross each of those states...................and being stuck at 5 am at the end of Virginia with Fog wasn't nice either
I must say though, Tennessee was by far and awesome expirience.....they must have the best highways in the nation.....
so anyhow, here are the pics

Pole Position
Let me officially welcome you to the "black cherry brigade". I too have a 2001 black cherry GS430 as well, but mine has the "impossible-to-keep-clean" tan interior. I bought mine in 2004 with 30k, but now mine's quickly approaching 85k...'cause I like to drive.
Nice OEM rims. Mine came with those miniscule stock 16s, so they got removed quickly...and then I too went with the 19" fat setup.
Enjoy that car. It's so purrrrrdeee.
I was at the NELOC meet this past weekend in Atlantic City, and we had a ball, once we finally all arrived. Hec, you could have come through since you came through Jersey.
You had a HELLUVA drive, man. 28 hours???? Sheesh!
If it took you 5 hours to get out Virginia, you must have been on I-81. That is one long azz boring interstate, so I have sympathy. But it was for a worthy cause. Enjoy!!!!

I got to Knoxville around 6;15 am it was pouring rain badddddd...... but after it cleared....man it was 110 to 120 mph all the way to Nashville
my gurl braught some radar detector called Valentine....she said it was a good one.
we made it through all those states and not once did we get pulled over
and hereis something I shouldn't have done, but I could't help my self ....it's amazing how smooothe the ride is at these speeds
