Man that sucks. That 3M double sided tape grips really well.

Sorry to see of what had happened. THe correct procedure to remove it would of been to take a credit card and slide it behind the windvisor where the 3m tape is or to take fishing line.

Yikes!!! Well....at least you learned what not to do, right? The key word was "rush". Never rush a mod....but I commend you on doing your own mods.

Thanks for kind words guys.

Basically what happened, when i put on the rear visor, i put it on too much to the left. When i tried to close the front door, it would hit against the visor from the rear door. It was only about maybe half a cm off.

When your doing it, just take it slow. Test fit it first, than put it on without the tape. Good luck, its a very simple diy.

I already contacted Steve at Carson and he's getting me just a replacement.

Anyway, i put on the rear visor first, and thought everything was okay. Than i continuted on to the front visor. Than, when i went to go shut the door, the front door would not clear with the new wind visor on the rear passenger door. So after realizing that, and had already heated up the 3m sticky tape, i rushed to try and take off the wind visor off the rear door.

This is what happened...

Sorry for what happened, but LOL

Default wind visors?

When installing these wind visors, you must start with the front visors first and then apply the rear or this will happen all the time! The wind visor adhesive is some of the strongest adhesive I have seen on the market, so you must be sure about placement prior to removing the tape! This hurts a little, but hopefully others can learn from this mishap! Nothing a replacement set can't handle!
