Custom engine bay pics GS400
I'm looking for pics of GS400 engine bays that have been customized, not necc. supercharged but cleaned up and modded from stock in some way.
I'm just looking for ideas on what to do to my engine bay.
Fire away!

Actually I only saw GS300 motors.
Here's my GS4, I basically cut and paste from an OLD, OLD thread. Do a search and you should find more like this.
Here's a close up of the polished intake and I filled the RMM engraving on the STB with black paint. Adds a nice touch.
Here's a close up of the Braided steel hoses and the polished VVTi covers
As you can see I went polish crazy with the new buffer. I even polished the stock radiator cap.
Here's my Optima Yellow Top battery with a Tsunami battery terminal mounted on top. The Tsunami also has an LED display to show the battery voltage so I can easily monitor if the battery is charged. It also has multiple power and ground terminals. This made it a lot easier and neater to hook up the power amp wiring and the Tech Grounding Kit, instead of seeing multiple wires on one terminal post. The factory wiring to the battery was also replaced with 4 gauge Stinger wire.
The only disadvantage with this set up is how to jump the battery since there are no terminal posts. What I did was run a remote set of battery terminals to the other side of the engine. See more on this in a later pic.
Since the remote battery post requires a HOT wire to be run, I needed to fuse it, so I used the Monster Cable circuit breaker and mounted it to the shock tower using screw holes that were already existing in that location. I don't know what Monster Cable was thinking, but they didn't offer any short-circuit protection for the circuit breaker posts, so I fabricated one out of black ABS plastic, with clear plexiglass mounted on top "fo sho". The screws that hold the plexiglass are also the same screws that mount the circuit breaker to the shock tower. Again, no hole drilling required !
Here's the EDFC motor with the dust covers removed "fo sho" and braided line added over the wiring. I didn't like seeing the EDFC motor wire not facing the right direction. If you look at most EDFC installs, the wire can face almost any direction, because the motor has to be rotated until it is tightened down. I did a special trick to get the edfc motor to align so that the wire comes straight out facing the right direction and can still be tightened securely.
You can also see the remote mounted battery jumper posts with the protective red and black rubber boots. These posts are usually mounted to the back of drag race cars. I fabricated the mounting brackets using the existing holes so there was no drilling into the stock sheetmetal required. I've fabricated protective ABS plastic around the positive battery terminal so that the jumper won't short against the car.
Also note that I polished all the AC aluminum hose fittings. BLING !

Nice find maintrain.
You must of been looking in our NorCal section.
Several of us in NorCal have dressed up our engine compartments.
Search for my other local homies: redgs4 & airtrackk who have done up their motors.
