Bodyshop lost my UGO roof spoiler and other stuff!!!!!
I can't believe it. I took my wife's car in to get some work done to "refresh" the paint and dings. I dropped off the parts a few weeks before to prep and now they lost it. I bought a brand new UGO roof spoiler from a CL member, carson lids, and L-tuned grille. Of course they'll reimburse the parts but then again...can't get any of it except I called Louis from Carson and he is holding a UGO roof spoiler for me (great guys @ Carson!!!) Now I'm out the grille and eyelids. sucks. I have to find something "comparible" and they'll buy it for me which means I'll have to wait til they come in from Japan to get them on....oh well, thought I vent a bit.speedy

that really sucks!!! Hopefully they'll pay you for what you paid for the lost items, but more importantly, I hope that arent being shady and end up giving them to another customer!!!

Mark, that's the first thing Louis said when I told him what happened.... "Are you sure they lost it? or 'borrowed' it" This is Austin...nobody really fixes up cars here. I'm originally from CA so I'd definately think that if it happened there. man....so sad

Ouch. Hopefully they are paying the actual cost of replacing the parts, and not what you paid for them. That completely sucks. Especially on long wait items. If they are paying for the cost of replacing the items, you should do a priority order from Japan. Maybe next time, they won't lose the parts.

Atleast they are paying for it. The grille you can find used in the classifieds and the eyelids @ Carson. The only semi-hard part to find is the UGO roof spoiler and you got another so you lucked out.

Man, that it is a drag. Makes one wonder what happened to your mods. Stolen, misplaced in a storage room, where did they go? Glad to hear you got the spoiler and leads on the other items.

I'm going to search for another grille. I really don't want the sportline after reading the fitment issues. One of our team members had one and it rubbed pretty bad. You would think I get a discount on paintwork now huh? hahaha, no such luck...

Did they accidently throw them out w/ the trash? I could see if they were some small screws & bolts, but a few items that are 2 feet and 3 1/2 feet long laying in a shop
