Default Drove a 99 GS400 last night - Miss driving my GS!

Hey guys, just thought I'd share. My best friend drives a 99 GS400 (Cinnabar, 20's, AVIC N1, etc etc) and last night we went to dinner with my g/f and her friend. It didn't make any sense for 4 people to take 2 cars and my buddy is scared to drive in NYC so I drove the GS400. I forgot how much fun it was to play with the eshift, how small and fat the steering wheel was and how SMOOTH these damn cars run. He has no exhaust so its like driving a damn cloud with a V8!! lol

My GS4 had TEIN HA's and was slammed so it drove like a go kart, and it was a trip down memory lane last night. (I used to do some SERIOUS lane changes in that damn car!!!). The other car is so much bigger, so it doesnt have that same go kart feeling (although with the KW coils, I throw it around like its a EVO lol)

There is simply no other car that can match the GS400 all around (performance, luxury, prestige, PRICE!!).

Hope you guys appreciate your GS4's!

Couple pics of my jalopy, for those that dont even know D2 had a GS! lol

Sold it last year. The cloud is cool man, but changing lanes with those TEINS and popping between 2nd and 3rd Gear on the highway was soo much fun!! lol seriously man you could jerk the wheel like you were making a right hand turn, and the car just shot to the next lane!! no drama, no roll no nothing.

I could only wish to have that kind of handling capability. I just dont like to sacrifice ride quality. They are doing a lot of road constructions here and I wouldn't want to feel every pot holes on the streets.

In that picture, is your headlights on? I want to have the fogs turn on when my headlights aren't on (daytime driving), but I dont feel like rewiring my fogs at the moment

I rewired the fogs to come on without the headlights, but I cheated and used the wiring for the park lights since the new bumper deleted the harnesses where availible so I spliced into them.

I knew it....you loved it. But now it's gone... Well, at least you've loved and lost and that's better than not to have loved at all. At least there's memories...and pics. Damn...sounds like we're talking about a girlfriend.

I remember this part very well D.

When we were driving in a convoy to the Peter Farrels shop at LexFest last year, we were very close to the shop on a single lane country road that had some major dips and rises.

We couldn't see past the rises ofcourse and you came out from behind one or two cars and passed about 4 of us, I turned to my wife and said - "is this guy insane???? He will get us all killed!!!! "
