Removing passenger side dash vent
Has anyone removed their passenger side dash air vent? I did some research on this a while back, and I wasn't able to find a definitive answer. I know the center vent (the one with the clock) is held in by 4 retention clips that release with a little pressure. Does the passenger vent come out the same way? Any ideas?

I forgot I had posted this question a few months ago. Here is a drawing from the service manual. The vent is held in by 2 screws. Has anyone removed it? How in the heck do I get to those 2 screws?

Guessing, based on the diagram: if it can be removed with the dash in place, then access to the screws would be through the glovebox and through the side defrost vent.
But according to the post from 14 years ago, that doesn't work and the dash must come out. Seems like weird design choice, but apparently they did try.

Yeah I gathered that as well. I still have yet to source the vent in the first place. Someone else suggested using a fabreeze air freshener to hold it in place but Im not sure. They also have repair clips on ebay as well..
